Elie Bleu Unveils Its Year of the Fire Goat Collection for 2027

French luxury house Elie Bleu has unveiled its latest Chinese Zodiac collection, celebrating the Year of the Fire Goat in 2027 with a series of limited-edition humidors and coordinating cigar accessories.

Known for combining traditional French cabinetmaking with elaborate marquetry, Elie Bleu has made its annual Zodiac releases increasingly distinctive pieces for cigar and accessory collectors. The new Fire Goat collection continues that tradition with an intricate design built around shades of blue, natural woods and mother-of-pearl.

The Fire Goat Humidors

At the center of the collection are two limited-edition humidors, offered in capacities of 110 and 250 cigars.

The larger 250-cigar humidor is limited to just 88 numbered examples and is priced at €7,770. Measuring approximately 22.9 inches wide, the larger format provides a substantial canvas for Elie Bleu's detailed marquetry.

The 110-cigar version is limited to 188 numbered pieces and carries a price of €4,660.

Both depict a goat moving through stylized blue flames, creating what Elie Bleu describes as a representation of serenity and determination moving toward the future.

The design incorporates several materials and wood varieties. French walnut and tamo form the contrasting tones of the goat's coat, while black-stained sycamore is used for details including the hooves, muzzle and eye contours. Smoked eucalyptus and black-stained sycamore form the horns, while the eyes are accented with mother-of-pearl.

Natural and blue-stained sycamore complete the surrounding composition.

Beyond their decorative qualities, the humidors remain functional Elie Bleu pieces. The 110-cigar model incorporates two humidifiers and an analog hygrometer, while the larger 250-cigar edition uses three humidifiers and an analog hygrometer.

A Complete Collection of Accessories

Elie Bleu is extending the Fire Goat theme beyond the humidors with a coordinated collection of accessories.

Among the first pieces is a Limoges porcelain ashtray, made and decorated in France. Designed to accommodate two cigars, the ashtray carries the same blue Fire Goat imagery as the humidors and is priced at €488.

The broader collection is also expected to include two- and three-cigar leather cases, a leather-covered table lighter, an EBC-4 double-blade cigar cutter and a J-15 jet-flame lighter.

Together, the pieces allow collectors to assemble a complete matching set rather than treating the Zodiac humidor as a standalone release.

Continuing Elie Bleu's Zodiac Tradition

Chinese Zodiac-inspired releases have become an established part of the luxury cigar-accessory market, with manufacturers producing increasingly elaborate limited editions around each year's animal and element.

For Elie Bleu, the concept provides an opportunity to showcase the intricate marquetry for which the French manufacturer has become particularly well known.

The Fire Goat follows the company's 2026 Fire Horse collection, continuing a series that combines traditional Chinese Zodiac symbolism with contemporary French craftsmanship.

With only 88 examples of the larger humidor and 188 of the smaller version being produced, the Fire Goat humidors are positioned as much as collectible decorative objects as they are cigar storage.

For collectors of Elie Bleu's previous Zodiac releases, the 2027 Fire Goat represents the next chapter in what has become one of the manufacturer's most recognizable annual limited-edition series.
